I was an idiot yesterday. I had the option of attempting to say something or to keep my mouth shut. Either way, I was fucked. I chose to keep my mouth shut. It seems to be my MO where this person is concerned.

For once I know exactlly what I want from my professional life and no clue as to what I want in my personal life. It's usually the other way around. I suppose I'll just review my options and see what I come up with.

Its always rough when you know that you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. Situations like that tend to paralyse me and I end up doing nothing by default (and conveniently forgetting that doing nothing is still doing something and that by not making my mind up about which course to take, I have nevertheless chosen a course even if its only the course of least resistance).
