Demolition Derby tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smashy smash!!!!!! Let's just bring out the mountain kid in me even more. If I currently had my own banjo, I would so take it with me. Deliverance, anyone? Hah! You got a purdy mouth, son. There will be ''mullet counting'' in the list of tonight's activities. Plus poking pony noses, eating funnel cake, and possibly food after. I'm hoping so. Lol. Hell, my aim is terrible when I throw things, but I might even try to win me one of them thar stuffed animalls. Hoo doggy, it's going to be a hootinany. All right, all right, I'm done. Geeze. I'm from a small mountain town, so I'm allowed to poke fun. We weren't really rednecks though, or quite hicks. Well, exactly where I came from, we were river rats. The rednecks were a few miles out of town. We had our own little microcosm in our little town in the valley. It used to be an old coal mining town, and there were run down mine shafts in the woods just above the house. I love looking at old pictures and such, plus hearing stories from my dad and grandma. But I'll save a few of those for another day. Cue ''Dark as a Dungeon'' by Johnny Cash. I used to listen to my dad play this on the banjo. Which is also the same banjo that I learned to play on, so, when I moved out, I couldn't take it with me. That thing is probably twenty years older than me. Lol. He played fiddle too. Which I was always interested in learning, but to my recollection, the fiddle was even older than the banjo. I remember when a friend of the family had a working saw mill. It'd been in their family for several generations, unfortunately, when Till died, his son didn't carry on the tradition. I remember going up with my dad to visit and playing while they worked.

Heh, sometime I might do a set, open it with me and my banjo, in bib overhauls and a spittoon, sittin' on a cabin porch with meh doggy. I'm seriously pondering that idea now.

Last night I dreamed of ice cream. All night. I have no idea what it means, but hey, it was nice to have a break from nightmares. Thank you xanax. Lol.
