I feel today is kind of wasted. Blarg. I don't like that. I perked up though when my friend/photographer said we'll be taking more pictures tomorrow, and I'll get the ones from last time (that's where my profile pic came from)! YAY! I've been wanting to paint, or draw, just SOMETHING that would feel productive. The puncture wound on my hand, courtesy of a German Shepherd at work yesterday (he wasn't a fan of blow drying, so we found out at my expense. lol.) has me a teeny bit limited as far as scrubbing floors and doing dishes and such, I want to give it at least ONE day to heal a little more. Lol.
My idea for doing pet portraits has hit a wall at the moment, I'm just not motivated enough to get samples done!! Grrr!!!! I have a few random drawings that I've been working on, but I'm going to need advice on how to get prints made, how to market, WHAT subject matter people would like, and so forth, oh, and packaging for displaying and shipping... like the plastic sleeves and such. Google search for the win, I presume.
Soooooooooo....... I was going to go work at the club, ''bartending'', tonight, but we're supposed to get more snow, and with my sleep schedule being a steady 'non-nocturnal' one anymore, driving an hour home on snowy roads, dead tired, probably not a good idea. Plus, if the roads are crappy, people will not be out, so no one spending money... plus Sundays are usually pretty slow. Hurumph! <--- Frisky Dingo, anyone? Lol.
Have I mentioned lately, how much I loooooooooooooooove, love, love, love coffee? No? I FUCKING LOVE COFFEE! There, now that that is out of the way.
I am horribly random, I'm aware. But, it's part of what makes me, well, me. So deal with it, embrace it, love it, or keep moving. Yep, I'm a little feisty today. Which is good. That's the old me coming out. I miss her. I just haven't been remotely my true, awesome self since I put my Great Dane down in Dec. of '08. Long time, right? Too long for my taste. I'm sure that wasn't the only thing that caused me to lose sight of myself, but I know it was the main turning point. And the series of events since then, haven't helped either... SO LETS DO THIS! I've determined some of the problems, and now I'm taking steps to resolve them, or in some cases, improve on them. Isn't sharing this personal self reckoning is what blogs were made for, anyway?
Ah, here's a tid bit, I'm aware that I'm not ''god's gift'', so to speak, but I don't think I'm too terribly hard on the eyes, no, I'm not doing the chick thing, with the bullshit ''oh my gaaaaawd, i'm so fat''', to fish for compliments, not at all. I think I'm kinda cute, and at times, I will feel that I look good, there are those brief, fleeting moments. But, here's what's up, I'm pondering a hopefuls set for on here. Yep, there it is. Throwing that out there. I've wanted to for YEAAAAAAAAAARS, but now, I feel I have a means to do so. So... we'll see. I'll keep you posted on that. I should have more pics tomorrow evening, or in the next few days for samples. SO, when I do, give me some feedback, if you would be so kind. Brutal honesty, but constructive criticism, okay? I am sensitive. :p
