Greetings from Chicago!
Arrived last night and took the train into the city. Security was heavy in the tubes--saw more than half a dozen police with dogs patrolling at my stop downtown. Several of them had Belgian Shepherds which look like German Shepherds but are black--very cool dogs. All of them had wire muzzles on though
poor dogs--they did not look comfortable.
Anyway, the city is pretty cool, walked around Michigan Avenue last night and found a groovy bar to hang out and have drinks. Going to be out checking out the city today. I have been here on business a few times and came to visit friends in Hyde Park when I was in college but have never really done the tourist thing.
Want to check out the Dan Flavin show at the MCA and Millenium Park which just opened last year. Should be a fun weekend!
