People lie for three essential reasons. Lies are told for love (sex), money or power. If you are interacting with someone and your Spidey sense is tingling but you don't know why try to take a moment and think about their motives. If you suspect that they are lying to you and you can easily and directly link them to one of the three motives to lie then your suspicions are probably right. Act accordingly.
