One of the most important things to do when you are looking for the right person is to first learn how to be alone. "Being alone" means more than just not having a partner or going out on dates, it means taking the time to evaluate your own choices and consequences that those choices have created. Get to know what you want and what you deserve before you go out looking for it. I wish i had learned this lesson long ago.
