I began my sleeve shortly after I lost my dad to cancer in 08. He was an old biker covered in prison tats, he was my best friend & the inspiration for most of my work. I guess I'll start from the top. The 247 is my crew, my family, the people I would do anything for.  The skull & knives are an homage to my father & his service in vietnam.the 2 smaller skulls are in memory of good friends that I've lost to heroin. The pineapple grenade skull was drawn by my best friend & it meant a lot to the both of us( his father also served in veitnam). My dad went to prison the day I was born & got out when I was 12 so I got the web on my elbow for the time he served. I got the reaper because my dad had a half finished reaper when he passed & I felt that I should get the same in his memory. Chicago because I'm proud of my city, I was born here & I'll die here. The crimson ghost in the coffin is obviously because I love the misfits & the crow on my wrist is because I've always been into dark, ominous shit & crows are pretty sinister.
