Have I posted nothing in this long? Jeez.
Well, I have had a few things to do... handed in the thesis, and passed! Yay!
Went on a massive holiday in Australia and New Zealand! Woo-hoo!
But I'm not gonna post about any of that exciting stuff, oh no. I'm back and today, I painted our front door. They say that painting is 80% preparation and 20% application and gah! Sand the door, fill the beaten up bits, wait for the filler to go off, lather rinse repeat.
Still, the wife had some very definite ideas about how to fill in the time during each pause as I waited for stuff to dry. So while it took all bloody day, the door is now white, parts of me are decidedly pink and I is drinking beer and smiling.
