I started out my day with little hope for anything good to happen...I was wrong. Maybe the best shit happens when you're not looking for it. I got up, played some Rock Band, which I was crushing at.
Then waxed the dreadies a lil until it was time to shoot pool in my Wednesday league. My team is currently in first and will probably be going to Vegas! Sweeeet!
Then I went to see some friends of mine play in their Wed. night band. It's really just for fun and free beer. They have other bigger gigs they play in on the weekends. I finally got to talk to this girl that I've had my eye on for weeks. Cute, dark-haired, tattooed....like half-sleeve, chest piece...OMG sexy. We talked we danced....we made out on the dance floor in front of the whole bar. Meanwhile she turns around with her back to me, grabs my hand, and directs my fingers to her....well you know.
Is this TMI? Fuck you it's my blog!
I'm not sure about any long-term type thing really, but I am definitely going to call her soon. We are going to have hella fun fo' sho'!
I took her home, got some kisses, and said goodnight with her saying I better call her. Gotta love that.
I ended the night by going to my buddy Johncoe's house and grubbing on some dank stir fry with he and his girl while watching Boondock Saints. This is really the best night I've had in a long time. I think I have broken through some of the barriers I've built around myself over the years. It's a good feeling to do the things I know I could and should have been doing all along.
EDIT: I forgot. At some point in the night this older lady walked up and was like playing with my dreads and shit while I was standing beside her overlooking the dancefloor. I just smiled at her, and then she blew smoke in my face. Isn't that some lame code for "I wanna fuck you?" Anywho, I casually bailed downstairs. She followed a few minutes later, walks up and says, "I'm not from around here. You want to go to the car and I'll suck you off?" Baaaaaahahahahahaha! I said politely, "No thank you." And broke the hell out!

Oh and I came home and had a nice chat with a really cool gal. She knows who she is....hope you enjoyed your sunrise.
I thought of this song...it puts things in perspective at this juncture, and is so very beautiful. Here are the lyrics, and please listen as well.
All I know is something like a bird within her sang,
All I know she sang a little while and then flew on,
Tell me all that you know, I'll show you snow and rain.
If you hear that same sweet song again, will you know why?
Anyone who sings a tune so sweet is passin' by,
Laugh in the sunshine, sing, cry in the dark, fly through the night.
Don't cry now, don't you cry, don't you cry anymore.
Sleep in the stars, don't you cry, dry your eyes on the wind.
All I know is something like a bird within her sang,
All I know she sang a little while and then flew off,
Tell me all that you know, I'll show you snow and rain
