"Have you ever seen the ocean on fire?"

It's Tuesday and it's already a very interesting week.

Hmm, I'll just say whatever right now because I feel talky.

It's ridiculously hot outside all day, I'm wearing jeans for the first time since forever. I absolutely hate wearing jeans, they make me feel so goddamn childish for some reason. It's weird. I turned a pair of jeans into cutoffs cuz i'm a badass. Now I have shorts! I also haven't worn shorts since I worked at Dutch Wonderland. It was great, my Mumum has a new pool and I'm definitely going to sneak over and dive from trampoline to pool and be all wild and shit.

Steve told me about how Cristen broke up with him and how he thinks she's cheatin on him with his friend Ben, which is fucking horrible, I mean Jeezus Christ, how could Ben do that to Steve? Steve also said Cristen has been showing up with hickies and shit on her neck. It makes me sick to think about how a couple can be together for so long and then she can treat him so bad. I know I shouldn't talk, considering my own circumstances, but I'd like to think we're not going out of our way to fucking hurt people. I don't know, maybe it's all in Steve's head. Probably not though.

I completed an interview with Brian K Vaughan for Chuck Palahniuk.Net, and I'm pretty proud of it. I have an article to write tonight and my brain is no where near writing worthy right now but it needs to get done! Writing this blog is helping me get into that zone but for fucks sake I hate transcribing interviews, it takes forever. AH.

Dreams.

Ah........you deserve it. Man, if I wasn't an old lady ........... smile

I had a job transcribing interviews in the mid-90s. It was out of an office in the Empire State building, but I worked at home. Newsweek, ESPN, National Book Awards.....uh......others I can't remember. I liked doing it. Quite a few "names" too. But working at home, I turned into something of an alkie. Then I got a SWEET job (art gallery - bluest of blue chip) & thus ended my transcribing career.

I was also humbled that I was doing the job of a machine.

But I used to type 90 wpm. Drunk!!
