This is my letter to Helen Jupiter, she's a staffmember of SuicideGirls, the editor.
I've been doing a ton of interviews, and writing, and submitting it, and not getting any types of response at all, having to call the headquarters sucks! I'm pretty sure the receptionist knows me by name now. See what I'm going through right now.
It's a little nerve-wracking, all this cool shit is happening and all these rad people are down to do interviews, and I transcribe em, get em done and then wait. The waiting is the absolute worst part, because I don't even know if you're going to use it after I've submitted it, it's not so much an issue of rejection or not, it's an issue of uncertainty. I mean, it says "a staff member will contact you to let you know if it's going up" something along those lines. Simple correspondence would be really great, it would set my mind at ease, oh yeah. I understand you're a busy lady, but after I submit an amazing and interesting interview (lol) I would really like to know if it's going up. Could I please have your number so I can get a hold of you easier?
In the past few weeks, i've either done interviews, or set up interviews with : Ross Halfin, Deron Miller, Chris Aspite, Adam Wallacavage, Julian Montage, Che'nelle, Kareem Black, Brooke Nipar, David Gensler, Nate Sherwood, Dustin Dollin, Daewon Song, Joey McIntyre, Lovedrug, Brazil, and Corrinne Alexis Hall.
They're all good people, Joey McIntyre told me that he was really into the questions I was asking and he wanted to do a followup interview. Mike Sheppard from Lovedrug said my interview was the best interview he's ever done. Kareem Black, Nate Sherwood, they're all down, they loved it.
So, do you not want this stuff?l
No business like show business! Holler, I gotta pay my phonebill!
