The leased-guard paused, unsure what to do with a man who was so clearly defenceless, especially considering the fact that he had raised his hands, of his own volition, and to top it off was trespassing. The guard decided not to think about the situation and rather decided to act on instinct. Which is not to say that acting on instinct is a bad thing, but it does leave one with a somewhat limited respective when seeing the world, or perhaps the rather large man looming out of the shadows with. The one with the ham-sized fists and the bad temperament.
Well, that went easier than expected, Grim said. He turned around and glanced down at the crumbled form of the guard. He lay in a heap limps every which way, and not because Darker had done any great harm to him. Hed tapped him, liberally on the shoulder with the club, and being hit in the shoulder does not usually cause any irreparable damage, or death. But it could put one in a state of almost blissful unconsciousness, which this guard seemed to be experiencing.
