Five-Minute fiction - 22:42-22:47
Things can usually go from bad to worse in a split second. At least thats how they felt to me. My life usually went from bad to worse faster than that, not a split-second in my case, by rather a split nanosecond. But the bad isnt all that bad, and the worse isnt much worse than the bad, but its the period in between thats the issue.
The in between is never a good place to be. Its always, usually, preferable to be somewhere stable, be that bad or worse.
Personally, I preferred good. I liked things to be good. Good was good, and well it was great compared to bad, and, of course, it was awesome when compared to worse, but it paled in comparison to great and didnt even hold a candle to awesome. Very few things can do that. Hold a candle to awesome I mean, because who really wants to be standing around holding a candle when awesome is doing something well, awesome.
But, I seem to have gotten off track. My name, for those of you didnt already know it, is Daniel. Or Dan, Danny, Dannyboy, Dan-Dan, pick your poison, whatever you want. Personally, I prefer Dan, but my parents call me Daniel, and so do my teachers, and, well, some of my friends. And now that you know my name
