The edge of the roof loomed closer. The open space beyond calling, inviting them to fly. Grim fought to regain control, to catch hold of something that wasnt Darkers tumbling form. Darker fought as well he struggled with the man on top of him. Steel flashed in the crisp moonlight. The white seeking the red as it drove down toward Darker. But the man was small, too small to expect to overpower Darker. The Alumnist turned his weight using the momentum of their slide down the tiles to catapult the man up into the air. He cartwheeled toward the edge, his limbs flailing as he struggled to cling to the air itself. He seemed to hang in the air, but gravity wrapped her foul trappings about him and he disappeared from sight.
Gah! Grim explained as they slid closer to the edge.
