Five-Minute fiction - 23:17-23:22
Grim didnt like being pushed around. And Bully Boys for their wont in life loved to push people around, especially people they supposed couldnt fight back. Grim for all his airs and education did not dress the part of an Alumni. He did not partake in the wearing of the current stylish black attire so common amongst Alumnists, but preferred to wear more everyday clothes, of suitably dark colours of course, and also to help prevent the hazards of the job from ruining his finer clothes. As such he in no way, shape, or form resembled someone the Bully Boys would leave alone. Rather they saw a weedy, youngish man, with foppish hair and an even foppish moustache.
In other words a perfect target.
Bully Boy gangs functioned in a manner similar to wild dogs, or so Grim surmised dogs, given a suitable amount of dehumanization, would function in the wild if they were bastards. The largest of the gang, a man named Carley by his mates advanced on Grim hounding him. The action was meant to keep Grims attention focused one way while another of the gang, a much leaner, and slinkier one slipped around behind him
