why pirate's were always so mean...

yesterday was "national speak like a pirate day"
so i looked up recipes that were common in those days. And pirate's were cranky becasue the food sucked.

i made soem traditonal strew, whcih sounded really good, but were decided to referr to it as concreate. I also make some honeycake, which i liked, i felt it needed a bit more spice in in, but it was kinda tasty. but i wouldnt go around gloating about it either.

so i make a fantastic britsh food chef becasue all my food tasted like NOTHING. i have never madestuff that had NO flavor before. it was awful.

"National Speak Like a Pirate Day"... Nice! I lived in Tampa, Florida when I was a kid, and every year we celebrated "Gasparilla Day"... The anniversary of pirate Jose Gaspar's invasion and plundering of Tampa. We got out of school for that shit. It was great!!!... Pirates were also very democratic! Their captain's were elected by the crew. But I guess they had bad food. I wonder how, since they stole everyone's cash (er, gold), they should've been able to eat well. That must've sucked... (I found you through Iriseyes, in case you were wondering where in the hell I came from)... Great bikini-top, by the way...
