Okay so it's fairly definitely the one on the left. But a little different, a bit more open. It's the spiral of life, I understand, but that's not really why I want it; it's total aesthetics. The nice meaning's just a bonus. I really don't want to get any tats for their meaning; I don't think I could get something for its meaning thinking that it would stay even if the meaning lost its importance. Maybe it's an artist thing - the body is a canvas but you don't see artists wandering around wrapped in their paintings. But you do know their work when you see it; that aspect doesn't change much, that they carry with them. Or maybe I'm just talkin out my ass.
