And so I'm back, from outer space!!!
Ok I don't EVEN know how to sum up a month long trip so I'm just gonna go by highlights... As much as I can remember, anyway...
- went on a Hindu pilgrimage at Batu Caves complete with people shaving their heads and skewering themselves and hanging limes from the hooks - oh, and monkeys doin it
- got cured by some Chinese herbal soup that tasted like wet forest floor
- petted an owl at the bird park
- saw beautiful firefly displays in the bushes along the river banks at night
- got treated to "international clams of goodwill" and lots of beer by people who didn't speak a word of English
- rode an elephant and saw spiders big enough to eat birds
- learned how to play the leaf and taught some kids how to play the grass blade (sort of)
- went kayaking through limestone caves and fed monkeys
- saw lots of the Nemo cast while snorkeling and took on the jellies
- saw a Thai transvestite midget in a blond wig, china doll makeup and a green bikini shake his booty to "Hey Na Na Na You're the greatest lover"
- shagged on the train from Surant Thani to Bangkok
- saw the Grand Palace and lots of Wats
- held my first python (I look great in python!)
- watched this tiny tippy Thai boxer send his larger (and previously winning) opponent out in a stretcher
- watched this Japanese girl get tied up spanked, whipped, hot wax poured on, and finally suspended like a hammock and ridden at a goth S&M club
- went to an Alcatraz themed restaurant and pub and watched this poor guy have actors put him on a stretcher and pretend to stick a giant needle in his ass
- sang karaoke REALLY badly
- ate 16 plates worth at the rotating sushi bar
- saw the samurai walking his dog and a bunch of temple in Ueno
- came home from partying to find the street was dotted with lots of pairs of frogs having sex
- saw (and smelled) the Tsukiji Fish Market
- went to Asakusa and saw the huge temple there
- took my friend to a Tokyo love hotel and shagged her senseless
God I'm sure there's more but I can't friggin remember and I'm bloody exhausted. I'm goin to bed!
