Sorry I've been AWOL of late - I still love you all tho! I've been trying to get my lazy ass in gear and get back to saving the world again. I remember once upon a time I was really passionate about social justice and a better world and all that tree-huggin crap...

So after a goodly divorce period from my intl. development degree, I am starved for passion again. Trouble is, I have this fucking degree and I learned through working in my field that, for the most part, I HATE PEOPLE. People suck. Besies ,there's like 6+ billion of us, so how bad off can we be?

So, I'm moving on (or moving back, as it were) to plants and animals, environmental stuff. At least if an animal does something stupid, it's either cute, just following instinct, or you can actually say, "now that was fucking dumb" out loud, and it won't care.

So I found this turtle rescue org. that does great work to try and repopulate various turtles that nest here, and it's close enough and the people I met were cool, and the 'lil turtles are SO FUCKING CUTE!!! So now I get to come home and smell like turtle. OH WELL... I'll be around more I swear, just been out getting my passion back. I'm sure you understand...
