So that was an uneventful birthday. Except for the Sri Lankan president sacking key ministers and suspending parliament. Stupid one-eye bitch.
But hey, looking forward to my medivac to Singapore next week. I know you're probably scratching your heads at that one, but we're talking five days or so gov't expensed travel and stay for what will probably be a few hours of random tests with huge needles. No, nothing's wrong, so quit pondering. But they keep you there until results are back - so they don't have to fly you out twice. So five days vacation for a few hours of med tests? Everyone should be able to travel to exotic places this way.
I think I'm gonna ditch the exotic hotel in favor of a private room at a really nifty looking hostel or B&B so I can meet real people to trapse around town with, instead of boring executive types. And while I'm there I'm DEFINITELY getting another tat, though I don't know what yet. Any ideas?
