" Dog is gone . . . still looking around for it. So strange.
Saw A Perfect Circle last night. I was a little out of my head thanks myself and these guys my friend and I were talking to (Northern Lights, yummy, I had Blueberry, yummy yummy). So, the first half of the show still seems like a dream. The second half just felt like dejavu. Here's the thing that got me in the beginning. The second song they played was The Hollow. After the song, Maynard said, "We have two shows left this year. [For that] we're going to play that one again." And they did. So weird, but I actually thought it was better the second time. Not played better, but was just better.
Maynard talked a whole bunch, which was quite the change. He went off about Bush, the whole "shit fuck" thing (freedom of speech). Basically, the show rocked, a couple of the songs have a whole diff meaning to me now, which I dig. It was aweseom to see James Iha. I was enjoying watching Billy Howerdel and thinking about how he got to where he is. Josh Freese was going crazy on the drums . . . I love watching drummers who love what they're playing. Jeordie put some spins on some of the older songs, which I can't believe I picked up on in concert.
So. Good times."
