went to the liquor store at lunch time and got a couple 5ths of whisky.
about 430 started drinking in my (new) office with coworkers. A coworker contributed a half bottle of scotch. As background music we had 'the tallboys', the new tom green album, social distortion and fugazi and it was pleasant.
Around 830ish. Dead Kennedys 'Police Truck' was playing. "There's six of us bitch so suck on my dick". The building went into fire alarm mode - elevators were disabled. around the same time we noticed one of my fifths and the half fifth of scotch had been consumed.
Around 9 the building security announced it was safe, but the elevators could not return to normal operation. If anyone really wanted to leave they could use the stair well. 34 flights of stairs? or crack that other fifth of whiskey?
what would you do?
