is there any one particular cd that you could listen to, over and over, on infinite repeat? and i mean, nonstop, no skipping tracks kinda repeating. normally i would suggest a NIN cd as i absolutely love them, but recently ive been thinking about this alot (gives me something to do on the way to work) and ive decided, without a doubt, it would be......drum roll please.....

Pixies Live at the BBC could well be a shuffle ad infinitum....
You should play Desert Island Discs I think.
Similar kind of deal as your idea: pick 8 musical pieces (singles mind you!) to take forever on a desert island.
You also get to take a book (you are 'given' the bible and complete works of shakespeare- wohoo!) and a luxury item.
chocolate might be high on my luxury list.
