well its mothers day..def the toughest day for me. 2 years ago i lost my mother to cancer. my mom was and still is my hero. she was the sweetest, most thoughful person i have ever known. so selfless in all of her actions she was loved by so many people. my mom taught special need children for 35 years and besides my father brother and myself, those kids were her life. by her being so caring of each child on such a personal level it made me the person i am today. growing up with those kids such a big part of my life made me realize that i should not take anything for granted no matter how small and seemingly unimportant they may seem. my mother also taught me that hard work pays off. she worked 2 jobs for as long as i can remember although it took so much of her time, she always made time for me. i feel as if i am begining to ramble. what i am trying to say is that my mom was my hero, my everything. for all my friends here on sg that are mothers, i wish u the happiest of mothers day!!!
