Just cruising through YEKNOMYKNUF's joint and remembered finding this epic poem in a Playboy when I was in high school.

Anyone who's interested in Shel Silverstein's darker side should read it. Good times.

Welcome to SGMC!

I learned to ride on an 81 silverwing, belonged to a highschool buddy of mine. I got an '83 Shadow 750 lightly used, and we rode to Florida from Philly. When we got back, I swapped out my laundry, kissed my folks, and rolled up to Canada solo, and got back in time for 12th grade to start. I've been riding as far as time will allow ever since.

these days i just want to motherfucking misbehave.

wyatt:
Got your app to SG Motorcycles. Please post in MY journal a little bit about what you ride, where, how long you've been riding, etc. If you don't currently ride, say something about why you should be a member of SGMC anyway. Anything to let me know you're actually interested in SGMC will do. If you know a current SGMC member, have him/her leave me a note in my journal.

Thanks.

I am the Furious Cree Presbyterian! I am the proud sovereign of this great hill in Silverlake. From the naked oozing methadone cafeterias of the flower district to the gleaming beacon of truth and...

In this room I can or have done all I will. Aside from a painful and unremarkable juvenalia this room, along with a correspondent above my father's garage, becomes mine. My trophies are interred here forgetting their names along with the remnants of other ambitions: boxes of stereos long since tossed, a rowing machine from the Middle Dinkins Era, a palm tree I think has...
