Tell me how your parents met. Or maybe some older relatives. Basically I want to know how did people meet before the Internet? Before lives seemed so crazy busy.

Here are the ones I know:

Mom and Dad

They met square dancing. Because that's not nearly exciting enough I'll tell you how he proposed to her. They were walking along the beach, my mom's favorite place in the whole world, and he tried to pop the question but she blew him off (and not in the fun way) to find a bathroom because she had to pee right then. A few days later he proposed to her in bed right after they'd finished doing it.

Aunt Laurie and Uncle Kelly

He was a bouncer at a country western club she frequented.

Maternal Grandparents

I have no idea how they met, but I do know my grandma left her fianc at the time for my grandfather because she says she just knew when she saw him.

Paternal Grandparents

Grandma's friend needed a date for some dance so she volunteered Grandma. Turned out Grandpa was her date.
