Today was my first day of work.
I started off the day by emptying the trash and taking the recycling to my alma mater. I visited people at the Tribune while picking up my check. Then it was a quick run to the bank, the office supply store and Target.
I've been looking for a new weekly planner. Unfortunately the brand I've been using seems to be out of stock. I settled for something else. I'll keep the receipt and return it if I can find the one I actually want.
Work was nerve wracking because I don't know their system yet and I don't really know my position there. I'm catching things but not completely sure of their styles and guidelines yet. But I finally know my schedule for the next two weeks: Monday - Friday, 3-11 p.m.
Next Monday (July 2) I have orientation in Downtown from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Anyone want to house me for the night and/or maybe hang out with me after?
