I took my cat to the vet this morning. He's had an eye infection for three weeks. Why three weeks? Because the first week mom thought she could just take care of it herself. The second week it got worse but she didn't have time. So my brother finally made an appointment and I took Maddy Lions in this morning.

Vet said he has an abrasion on his left eye, which caused the swelling and goopiness. Mad wouldn't let the doctor look at his eye, even though the vet put in some drops to deaden it. I also told the vet about Mad being slightly underweight and his fur not being as pretty as it used to be. He also has sores on his mouth and chin.

He has some sort of immune problem which he's had for a year. Doc thinks it's all related (except the eye, which is probably just making things worse because it's stressing the cat out).

So the vet took my baby for the day. He said to come back for him at 4 p.m.

I walked out of the office crying because he's my baby boy and I just want him to be better. I called RS, who is in Hawaii, and woke him up. He couldn't understand me because I was so upset. This is just a shitty situation.
