DAY 3: BATHROOM FRUSTRATION
Well my plans for relaxing in my brand new bathroom have come to a screeching halt. Last night I suffered with no way to bathe again, but had the luxury of a toilet (YAY!)
Today I was able to shower and use the toilet but we still have half a wall missing and no tub surround. I'm a little disappointed in the guy that we have doing this because this was only supposed to take him 2 days, 3 at the most. Now he has to come back on Tuesday to finish up. But that's not the great part...$1500 later and he is NOT putting down linoleum on the floor OR taping the drywall. So we have to do that ourselves. If I would have known all the stuff we were gonna have to do ourselves I would have suggested we just do the bathroom ourselves! I am now an expert at drywalling and soldering pipes
In other news, my mother is coming up on Tuesday with her soon-to-be hubby to go to the Big E. I think she thinks that I'm going to skip school and just rush right out and hand out with them. Uh, let me think about that for a minute....NO!
She thinks that because she has been gone for 2 weeks now that I should stop everything to see her. I wish I could tell her how much she's changed (for the worse) but if I say that she will turn into the "victim" and say that I'm trying to rain on her happiness. Whatever...best if I just keep my feelings to myself
