OK so because of the popular interest in the current state of my bathroom...I decided to give you a pic of the horror that is going DOWN on Friday! 
Now, the duct tape wall was not my idea. Ya see, men have this fascination with duct tape and also have this idea that it is the cure-all for everything. My dearest is no different. This is a man that will duct tape the window around the air conditioner so tightly that he has a hard time getting it off when it's time to take the air conditioner out. So henceforth, this is what I have been living with since I acquired the house. It's really helped though, as ridiculous as it looks.
But, laugh as you may, it's all getting torn down on Friday for a pure white, non duct taped bathroom!
I think we should have a party over here in my new bathroom, even though only two people can conceivably fit in there at one time. We can take turn drinking beer out of my new tub

ps: I feel like we are all rehearsing for a revival of Short Cuts: we all live within 10 minutes of each other, probably have fought for the same tickets at the deli line, and damn if I haven't scoped out bonfirecollapse at Uno's at one time or another!
And yes, it's a pretty big job. A job that would teach me programming and land me in all sorts of IT goodness. and making 41k in about three years... which is NICE.
