Today has been a trying day! Well first off, I got up this morning and went to check on my fish and he was not to be found anywhere in his new tank. I finally looked to the floor and there he was! On the floor! I have no idea how or why he would jump out of his tank like that but he was there...bone dry. I freaked! I picked him up intent on a funeral but instead noticed that he was ever so faintly breathing! I placed him back in the tank and sure enough after a few hours he was back to swimming as normal...well, sort of normal. I think he can see very well anymore because his swimming seems to be a little strange and he isn't swimming as much. I can't believe he lived! I know it sounds corny but I love that fish...he was my project. I saved him from the certain doom of the death tank that my love kept him in. Since then we have really given him awesome fishy digs and a great filtration system

And, of course, on top of that school started today. I hate that place! No, I LOVE school but I hate THAT school. Administratively it sucks ass! It's very hard to be a commuter student and go to school there since everything, including anything academic, is geared toward resident students (i.e. young men and women with no jobs who have all the time in the world to spend doing stupid assignments and traipsing all over campus for research).
