This I fear the most.
What are you going to do to me?
Tie me up and leave me here
Bruised and bleeding?
Make me feel something painful and new?
I can't stand the anticipation.
It's so much more than I can take.
Wondering, waiting, thinking,
knowing, feeling, aching, dying,
All to be reborn when I see you again.
Fueling my desire once more
Until I crash and burn.
It's all that I fear now
Yet I continue to entangle myself with you.
I guess I'm brave after all.

Well I think one of the things that really helped my finally completely commit to becoming a vegan (I had toyed with several times for the last 20 years or so) has to do with my mom. She always wanted to become a vegetarian but never did because my dad would never have gone for it. After she died a few years ago, I thought w0w that's so sad to not do the things you really want to do because of other people. I realised then that I didn't want to die knowing I never did the things I really wanted to do.
