Maybe it's just me but I am getting sooo sick of this war on Christmas/we have to make sure God is mentioned in everything. I received an email tonight about Marines praying on federal property and a government official got upset about this stating it was federal property and prayers should not be said there. I thought that that was wrong because everyone should be able to pray to their own god. But then the email goes on to talk about strictly Christian themes. Now correct me if I'm wrong but the United States is made up of all religions NOT JUST CHRISTIANITY!!! I am so sick of the Christian agenda being shoved down my throat everywhere I go. This bullshit about people being pissed off when someone wishes them Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas....get a fucking life! Channukah falls on December 25th this year so how is it fair to wish everyone a Merry Christmas if they are celebrating Channukah? I say Happy Holidays all the time and have said it for years. Who am I to impose my traditions on everyone else?

I believe in God as much as the next person but I really don't feel that I need to be told by some Bible-thumping, hypocritical Christian what I should say or how I should celebrate my holiday. The beauty of living in America is that all people regardless of creed can escape religious persecution and I feel that lately the attitude is Christian or bust.

Happy Holidays everyone - stand or kneel on your local federal property and pray to the god of your choice!

I am VERY VERY VERY envious of your IPod gift. That was the one thing I wanted very badly this year, but Santa dissed my ass.

I am planning to drive by and take a picture of this house on Wilbraham Road that has a GIANT sign on the front door: it reads "I AM COVERED WITH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST" which I find to be so morbid that it cracks me up. If you swing by the intersection of Wilbraham and Roosevelt and head down Wilbraham towards the Acres, you'll see it immediately on the right. I triple dare you to wish them "Happy Holidays" hahahaha biggrin

Hope your holidays went well also, and thanks. I got my hair done a few weeks ago, but hadn't managed to take any pics of it yet. Perms take a few weeks to look good anyways though, so it worked out for the best. Enjoy your little break between semesters, I'm trying to even though I'm taking a winter course online and doing observations, plus working. lol. So relaxing. I'll try to find sometime to read and crochet though, both relaxing, non-school, non-work related activities. lol. Anyways, hope to talk to you soon!
