Trip to Schaumburg went almost perfectly. I guess nothing is perfect. The time I spent with my brother and the rest of the team was AMAZING. I broke my diet, as always, and spent too much money. Well worth it.

I realized how much I enjoy driving through the midwest. It's so perfect. And although I'd rather of had a companion it's always nice to be alone singing at the top of your lungs.

I think I played this song 900 times and even got an 18 year old memorizing the words with me. . Success!
I came home to some crazy scary news. I'm being offered a position at Mercy hospital as a critical care nurse. I don't have a background as a critical care nurse so I'd have to go back to school (because 10 years wasn't enough) however, Mercy would pay for my schooling and training. I'd be offered a position immediately and it's on the job training. I've decided not to even think twice about it. I love what I do at the nursing home but watching people die is not fun. Plus I get to move to Iowa city as soon as I can. Downside, I would probably be staying in Iowa longer then I want to. I guess Iowa is growing on me. Never thought I'd say that .
