OK, so first entry into this thing. I've never kept an on-line journal before, and I guess I'll fill out a few and see if anyone out there ever reads it.
Been a member for six months or so, but not updated a profile or done this or anything because I told myself right at the beginning that I was going to wait until I had got my first tattoo done. Which, thanks to adverse circumstances, I only got around to doing yesterday. And very cool it looks too, thank you very much. I did go incredibly woozy after about 30 seconds, but then the guy gave me a lollipop, and after that i was OK. Plus, free lollipop, so how good is that?
Moved house about a month ago (Gods, how the hell am I going to pay for this thing?). Finally got the internet connected on Wednesday, which was a really strange day. On the plus side, I got my modem from my parents (where I'd got it posted because of problems getting it sent to me). But, while I was collecting it, they got a call from the vet saying that their cat had cancer, and was going to have to be put down.
My folks are visiting this weekend, and I'm sure this is mostly because my Dad reckons that it will do my Mum good to come and cuddle my cat for a while. Maybe to see me as well, but probably to see my cat more. Mind you, Mum always used to complain that when my brother or I went home, we were more interested in seeing the cat than in them, so I guess turn about is fair play. Still, my cat is possessed by the devil - I have photographic proof which I might put up sometime. Cute, affectionate, cuddly, but possessed by the devil anyway. Plus a mouse-killing machine.
Right, rambling now, not to mention getting sentimental. Better go. Have to get up for work tomorrow anyway.
