I'm just going to put this up there, since I'm rapidly learning to treat myself as a commodity (academia: cons, you're an indentured servant. pros, no dealing with the labor market). And hey, you never know. Plus, I seem to have rubbed elbows with at least a couple folks on here already doing what I'd like to do, at least -ish.

I am looking for a job. I want to change careers out of academia, into political or NGO work, preferably foreign-policy/human-rights oriented. I am willing to start at the bottom (much as it pains me to run into students and have them say - "hey, I applied for that too!"). I have IT skills, but I'd rather not use them. I am willing to do grey, but not black ops.
