Watching I survived and it kinda puts things into perspective of how lucky i am after my accident.
I like talking about what happened, much to my sisters dismay, and the only reason i can think is i know how lucky i am and how great it is to be alive today. A man on I Survived was talking about how much blood he had lost after being shot. When i was in my accident they told me i needed 4 units of blood, after calculating it that was 80% of all the blood in my body and if i wouldn't have had blood transfusions i defiantly would have died since the average person can lose only lose 3 to 4 units. So thank you all blood donors!
At the time i didn't think to much of it. I was happy to know that nobody was dead or injured beyond repair.. but now when i think about it im just so so happy to be alive, i never wouldve met Joshua, became an SG or met my nephew. In that time alone so much has happened to me, ive met so many people, experienced so much and met the love of my life. Even on bad days its hard for me to hate anything.. im still here! and im so happy to be! Sometimes its nice to see things like i watched today as a reminder that i could be dead right now. Im a happy camper.
