Peoples, peoples, peeples...
Read carefully, the following drivel.
I'm officially admitted@the U for the fall semester. A lot is still up in the air, such as where i'll reside (hopefully very near the east bank) whether i'll get financial aid in time, how much i'll be awarded, if i'll sell my jeep soon, if i'll be able to get out of my lease without having to pull my pants down, and if i'll "cut it" as a full time extremely non-traditional student.
Regardless, i'm gonna take a swing at it cuz it's my life now. Well, my life right now is still devoted to alcoholism, but soon it'll be school once again.
Change change change... Exciting yet laced with apprehension. In other werds, my sphincter snugs up a bit when i think about it.
To top it off, i jest had a really good friend leave for grad school. I'll miss her more than she knows or even wants to know. Another part of my heart left with her, which i'm sure she tossed out the window along with the camping pillow, sponge bob square pants air fresheners, box of dots, hookers N blow t-shirt, and all the road trip CD's i burned for her.
Oh well, i can still breath..... So i got that goin for me.... Which is nice..

Cool!! You are really taking life by the balls and squeezing HARD. Glad to see it. What will you be learning in school? I had more fun and a much more relaxed life in school. I didn't have any money but I LOVED learning. I miss those days. Maybe I will go to grad school one of these days in something that I've always wanted to study, but has no real pratical applicaton - an MFA in poetry. It is always in the back of my mind. As for the lady, man I identify with you. It is hard to see someone you care about go and not know how much you care about them. I bet she knew. Sending you a virtual hug and kiss.
