I'm over 2,400 miles away for my daughter's first Christmas (not that she'll really celebrate it... her mother is Jewish)... but still... suck-o-rama.
To make it a bit worse, my girlfriend will be out of town doing the same thing that I'll be doing in town--visiting a grandparent who might not make it to another X-mas.

Hang in there. Thankfully, Christmas comes but once a year.
