Broke down and bought a laptop yesterday...
I should have saved the money, but noooooooooooooooooooo...
Now I'm mobile, at least. No more cave dwelling when I feel inspired to write. I guess that's a good thing. A boost to morale. Usually, the fact that I'm cooped up in my room is what discourages me from doing much of any creative thinking/writing/dreaming. I guess it'll be worth it in the end. Assuming, of course, that I am able to produce something worth reading...
Ahhh, fuck it... new toys are fun. I'm not going to beat myself up over this one. No buyer's regret this time around. I've wanted a "Lappy" for a while, now I've got it.
I'm working my way up to coffee shops. I'm in the living room at the moment, and it feels nice. Nice and open. I'm not wedged into the corner with only walls to stare at. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually leave the house with it.
