I have a hole in my face again...
Not sure how I feel about it.
It has been a little over a year since I removed the barbell from my eyebrow in a state of self-loathing. It was a symbol of regret for me at the time. Every time I looked in the mirror and saw it, I could think only of the mistake I had made with someone who I cared about an awful lot. She always hated that goddamn thing and I'll never forget watching the tear stream down her cheek as the needle shot through my skin.
It was an attempt at repairing karma that made me take it out...
My karma hasn't changed one tiny little bit since, and the specific area that I wanted my second chance has long since passed...
So it's back.
One tiny thrust of the needle and a little flash of silver adorns my face once again.
I think this one will be followed by a couple more, perhaps... I had always wanted more, but my job satisfaction at the time kept me from turning myself into a pin cushion just in case I ever needed to go look for a new occupation. That doesn't scare me much anymore...
Damn... just realized the roommie is out of town for the week.
I'm bored shitless...
