I really don't have a lot to say on any one subject... just random smatterings of this and that. Incomplete thoughts and observations. Nothing earth shattering. Just random crap.
...I'm healing up well since the surgery. The doctor says I should be ready to roll in about 3 weeks time, so the move will be a go. In the meantime, I can't go back to work, which is good because I hate that fucking place.
...the party my friends threw for me as a going away "event" went really fucking well. Everyone had a good time. Even the handful of people who showed up ready to hate the day were turned to our way of thinking once the flip cup tournament started. Good shit.
...not that I give a pair of dingo's kidneys about American Idol, but with this season's winner I am much pleased. I was forced into watching part of the show last night while I was visiting my parents and quickly decided that if that beat-boxing putz won, I'd have to go on some sort of rampage.
...my apartment is half empty right now. It's strange. It's finally setting in that I'm gonna be out of here very very soon.
...there is a strange smell in my freezer. Disturbed greatly by this.
...I have a mountain of paper. Just great big huge gobs of it that I need to sort through. Some of it looks important, most of it looks like rubbish. Why do I do this to myself?
...got a video tour of the apartment that awaits me in Portland... pretty sweet.
...kinda bummed by the season end to Heroes. I wanted more George Takei.
...Denny Crane.
...got an e-mail from the ex-fiance. It made my heart sink. I do fine when I can trick myself into not thinking about her, but when faced with the reality of her, I always end up on a downward spiral. I'm getting better though... still hurts, just not near as much.
...there is some sort of funk wafting up here from the apartment downstairs. I don't know what that guy eats, but he makes it often and it never smells good... or maybe it's the people next door. Hmmmm...
...I wanna do Diane Lane.
...I'm tired of babbling for now.
EDIT: ...why am I so geeked about the Transformer movie? It looks like shit... but every time Optimus Prime rolls onto the screen in the commercials, I get giddy...

This was a good blog, it's good to get things off your chest.....I'm happy for you that your doctor appointment went well and I'm happy you will be able to move soon and be a lot happier....the transformers movie makes me giddy too, i'm a nerd for that shit, but i will probably wait til it comes on video....Diane Lane is hot, I don't blame you haha...hope you are having a good rest of the day, talk to you later.
