The Grammy Awards are on in the background. I haven't really been paying attention until a few moments ago. They reached the point in the proceedings where they honor those musicians/singers/songwriters/artists who have passed away in the past year, and again I feel the sting of a passing that--in many ways--had occured nearly 40 years ago when the madness began to take him.

I wonder if he knew the influence his music had on millions of adoring fans? He hasn't produced new materials since before my birth, but all the songs still strike a chord within me. They all still touch me--no matter how many times I hear them--with the intensitiy I felt the first time they reached my ears.

In case there was ever a doubt... if ever there was a question... about "which one's Pink?"
The answer, to me, is quite clear...
