Oh, lethargy, my old friend. Why do you taunt me so?
I'm looking at the clock and it's only an hour and a half away from the time when Kaki King will be at a local music store for a meet and greet. I'd sure like to go, but I'm pretty damn tired and not feeling like getting ready to leave my home any time...

"Pull Me Out Alive"

I took The Roommate to see Les Claypool at the Roseland last night. Oringially, another friend of mine was going to go with me, but a last minute engagement with his death bed put the kibosh on that. He got a cold. That left me with an extra ticket and no one to see the show with. I figure I owe Roomie the price of...

thank you
I'm trying to be a bit more positive today. I really, really like your profile picture, where's it from? (I'm hazarding a guess it's Animal Farm related?)
aughtnaught:
pissed off too many people to feel comfortable drinking there
Oh, I feel such the dope.
I just found out that I've had the power to go home all along...
I spent the better part of prime sleepin' hours last night clicking my heels together. I haven't been this excited about a project in quite a long time.
I'm not going to say what it is I'm working on.
Mysteries are more fun.

I've been very un-Dude for the past 3 or 4 months. I found happiness when I moved here. It was bliss in simplicity. I have since let some rather silly things cloud my perception of the world around me. I need to get back to that happy place soon.
The Dude abides.

Dude up.

Thank you! Hopefully with more practice and shizz in time i'll be able to turn out a decent set or such.
I think i'm going to try and apply a Dude mentality to my life, on an attempt to combat the ole melancholy lethargy. I don't know what Dude is, a million percent but i'm very sold on the concept and might have to go and think up my personal Dude manifesto! Booop!

Felony Flats (the lovely area of town that I call "home") is living up to the name at the moment. I'm not sure what the hell is going on, but I turned onto the street just before mine and was greeted by 5 police vehicles and countless uniformed individuals scattered about the area. They have the whole street blocked off at both ends.
Methinks maybe...

Oh bummer, I was kinda hoping that it was the real name... But I understand what you mean about "people knowing what place it means"

There just doesn't seem to be enough hot water in the world, some mornings...
Melatonin rocks.
I'm struggling to crawl out of the sweet coma it induced last night. I had no idea sleep could be found so easily or legally. I must remember to take it early in the evening, otherwise I'm not sure I'll get up with the alarm tomorrow morning. Damn. I just want to crawl back into bed and call it a day. Maybe I...

I adore melatonin!!!! I've been taking it pretty much nightly for a month or so to counteract weed lethargy and it's worked a treat! I love the 'mmmm' feeling when the snooziness starts to kick in!
In answer to your last blog, having considered deeply and just watched Cartmanland, it is definitely worse to have something great and lose it!

Which is worse...?
A) To have something great and lose it.
B) To almost have something that you want so badly you can taste it, and never quite get it.

Thats a tough one I would hate to lose something great and know it but it would be better to have it in my memories than to never have them

Arg blank post.
I found happiness. It was behind the couch.
And I think B is a better choice simply because I've had it before and I enjoyed the thrill of still trying to get it as opposed to sad memories of something lost.

Well... I fucked up.
For reasons I'm not quite sure of, I went poking around on petfinder.com earlier and found about 9 million cats that I want to adopt. I don't think The Roommate would care for that much. Though it would be a fun surprise when he comes home from Vegas.
I need to not go back to that website unless I live on...

I've managed to get myself involved in something that I'm not exactly proud of. It's all at the request of a very good friend of mine back in Ohio. He knew, when he asked, that I wouldn't like it, but he asked anyway. And he also knew that, even though I...

A little less than $500 a piece. More with parking and utilities of course but not bad.
