Finally back. Of the last 5 weeks, I've been gone 4. It is good to be home sometimes.

I'm off to CA for the rest of April.

Now go outside and enjoy spring.

So I find out that while I'm "In the hopper" that, barring unforseen events, I have some time to catch my breath.

So which is worse: The change you don't see coming, or the one you see coming from far away?

And another Alert passes. One of these days I think something will come of one. Sadly, I think it will be sooner rather than later. After all, you never hear the one that gets you.

Just when I thought it was safe to relax and starting planning my life again....

At least this time I only have to hold my breath for a couple of weeks. This is the fourth time I've seen a warning order in the last two years. And two of those lead to deployment orders that were later recended.

I can't wait till 2003 is finally in the books. It seems as if I have had to spend this entire year in a state of anticipation of what might happen. It has been really strange not being able to plan or think more than a month in advance.
