I have just realised how bloody boring these blogs I write are. Apologies for that.
I am at my parents' house till tomorrow, catching up on sleep and cooked food. I spent last week eating pizza, crisps and bugger-tonnes of bread. Not so healthy....or vegan for that matter. Veganism is not going so well. I tried, I mean I really tried.But that was a bit of a fail to be honest. My relationship with food is somewhat fucked and when I want to eat something I go all out baby... gluttonous pig.
I have a lot to do over the next week. I have to sort out uni and the financial side of that. I would really love to keedp my flat in halls but I am not sure I can if I stop doing medicine. I am on "medical leave" until further notice, which should mean I can probably keep the bursary and flat. Thank christ. I am hoping to get an actual appointment with a psychiatrist who can do his bloody job, instead of saying "I can't really help you, I am just here as someone you can talk to and get happy pills off of". Thankyou very much. Grrr. This week ahs gone well, I am feeling positive that I may be getting my life back on track again. Finally. Its just taking a little bit of work. Little being a complete understatement.
I really want to stick to the veganism. After reading so much and learning so much about the food industry it feels so wrong to carry one ating dairy produce and the likes. I could never touch meat again, ever. I feel disgusted just thinking about doing that, but I don't seem to ever consider the realities of the dairy industry when I eat it. I am only really eating it for flavour, and there are so many more yummy foods out there to substitute cheese and chocolate and mayonaise.
I am hopefully getting my tattoo in a week or so. The tattooist, Beatriz, has recently moved over from Madrid and she is doing SO well. She has had a hell of a lot of interest in her work and she deserves it too. I looked through her portfolio and it is so incredible. Very celtic designs, but with a spanish/latin twist. I gave her a design of a tree I found in a cupboard at home. My great-grandfather drew it when he was in the deserts in South Africa. Its so beautiful, and the trunk twists round fromt the force of the winds. I am really excited
I am really looking forward to June. I am going to be 20, so no more teenage trauma haha. Its bonkers how fast time flies. The past ten years seem like such a blur when so much has happened. And I am still a kid really...
I am off to Download with my sister, Jess, and really can't wait. I have been wanting to go for about 4 years now and since I can't go to Paleo in Switzerland I am so happy to be going to a festival at some point this year. Although I will miss the swiss guys so much. Some of the best friends I ever made, seriosuly. I am definitely going back for new year to ski and drink some proper delicious beer
I love sweet potato. Its fucking heavenly
Thats all. I wanted to write random details of my life down mainly to get it out, but I spose if anyone reads this now they know I don't just cut my hair all the time instead of having a proper life.
