Ack... i am sick. Stupid cold... I got it from Yula and now my nose is draining into my throat and making me feel all pukey... Gak!
Ok this really pisses me off. My friends Vladimir and Yula were temps where i worked. It was awesome because they were on the same shift that i was, and we got to hang out on break and BS from time to time at night. Well i go into work tuesday night to find out that they got fired. No good reason, the operator of the line said it was because they were bad workers. Thats total bullshit, they worked their asses off. I think its because the operator had a thing for Yula and was jealous that she was with Vladimir.
Anyway, they came to hang out with me today... It was fun, other than my killer cold. As they were leaving i slipped a gift card for a local supermarket in her coat pocket. Cheesy i know, its only 50 bucks, but they are very proud people, and i know that vladimir would have tried to turn it down. The whole situation just sucks, they are just starting out, and have hardly anything, no savings... nothing. And now jobless. Stupid ass world.
