Does anyone know why birds decide they want to swoop in front of your car? Long stretch of road. No birds in sight and then they swoop in front of your car.
Happens all the time, doesn't it?
I hit one the other day. Heard the thump, saw the poof of feathers.
Is this just natural selection at work here? Did all the other little birdies double-dog-dare him? Is there an ornithologist in the house that can answer this question? It's a little too late to call the pet psychic for this one.

I do hate it though that feeling of remorse for hitting an animal, i once acidently ran over a coon i felt terrible but nothing i could have done.
