You know....I must really love my wife. She is the football fan in the family. Now, don't get me wrong, I do love watching anything done at a high level. I just don't care who is playing or who wins.
Anyway...my wife is a Redskins fan. Don't know why, they don't seem to have had a good record for a while. Not since the Hogs anyway.
One of the Redskins players, Steven Davis, was at the grand opening of a Circuit City. He was signing autographs starting at 6pm.
I got on a complaint call at work. Could not leave until 5pm. Went straight over. Did not even get supper. The line was wrapped around the inside and outside of the building. Couple of thousand people easy.
Stood in ine for THREE AND A HALF hours to get a signature on a football from someone I could not pick out of a crowd if my life depended on it. Didn't even get to eat dinner until 9:30pm.
Her smile was worth every minute.
