Ahh....Kahlua, Hot Chocolate, and Billie Holiday.
This is a good combination! My roomie and I decorated the X-mas tree this morning while sipping on Kahlua mixed with Hot chocolate, and listening to Billie Holiday. Fun times my friends. She has this great antique silver metallic X-mas tree. This thing is fabulous, in the most wonderfully tacky way! You gotta love it!
I unfortunately couldn't find any of my decorations for the holidays....I have a very sickening feeling in my gut that is telling me my dad threw them out or misplaced them while I was storing my things at his house. He has a habit of always disappointing me this way. Over the years I have lost many cherished things due to his lack of concern/respect for anyone else's property or feelings for that matter. I know, I should be used to it by now, right? Oh, well....
I'll stop bitching now.

Do you believe in Guardian Angels?
I'm just curious.
And I guess it seems strange that someone who considers themselves Buddhist would put up a tree for X-mas. I celebrate the holiday socially, not religiously. I like to decorate and make people cool gifts and watch the old animated X-mas specials like the Grinch, Rudolph, A Year Without Santa Claus, (etc.). In that way this time of year is fun for me!

Update:
I had to take Niko to the Vet this morning because she had this oozing cyst-like thing on her neck!!
I freak the fuck out over things like this...that is my baby!! So she is at the Vet now and they are going to call me after they check her out and see what it is. I was out of town for a few days, and I had someone watching after her, but they didn't notice her neck. It was kinda hidden behind her collar. And this particular person isn't observant, or should I say... they are more selectively observant. Anyway, I'll update later on how she is.
Additional Update... After the Vet visit...
Niko is fine!!
The place on her neck is a small puncture wound, (probably from playing with my sister's dog) it's just on the surface and it got infected so there is a lump of fluid where it is swollen which makes it look like a narly cyst. Whew!! Thank goodness it was nothing worse!

T-Day was pretty good. My father's side of the family pretty much all lives in the DC area, so we gathered at my grandparents' place in Westminster, MD. Kind of a halfway point. I got to see my brother, first time since his ordination. It was good all around. I'll have to post sometime with more info. I'm honestly losing interest in Suicide Girls. It's becoming more a badge of "cool" than anything else.
